Things I found out while having a quiet word with Daniel Tashian and Dylan Jones last night

  • The key moment in Daniel’s career came when he discovered the major seventh chord.
  • If you launch into a Louvin Brothers song at a Word gathering somebody in the audience will supply a most acceptable harmony
  • He writes 90 songs a year, which is a lot more than his publishing contract demands
  • He’s got a whole solo EP called The Lights Of Town that I’d never heard. It’s here on Spotify
  • The Slaughtered Lamb seems like a good place to have these very intimate shows
  • Dylan Jones was talking about Live Aid and explaining that the hand claps in Queen’s “Radio Gaga” were put there because of the video
  • I love this kind of thing
