Daniel Tashian of the Silver Seas makes a video at the mall

I can’t decide whether this has been expensively art-directed to look like a slice of American apple pie or whether Daniel just popped down the mall with his iPhone and shot it. Questions like this will no doubt crop up next Tuesday when he sings, plays and talks at our A Quiet Word With Daniel Tashian show in the intimate surroundings of the Slaughtered Lamb in Clerkenwell.

Also on the bill that evening I’ve got the infallibly entertaining Dylan Jones, editor of GQ and old friend of the magazine, who’s going to be talking about his new book “The Eighties: One Day, One Decade”.
